ASKA COOP. SUGAR INDUSTRIES LIMITED is one of the oldest Sugar Industry in India commenced the sugar production in the year 1963-64 and proving its existence successfully year after year. The present crushing capacity of the mill is 2500 TCD. It has a distillery, an ancillary unit producing 10000 bulk liters of rectified spirit utilizing molasses, the organic byproduct of the sugar unit.

The Plant is located at Aska town 170 Km road drive from the State Capital of Orissa Bhubaneswar and 40 Km from Bramhapur City. ASKA SUGAR is a very Big FAMILY of more than 35,000 family members comprising 20,000 farmers, 900 employees and many more.

The Industry being only one of its kind in the Cooperative Agro Processing Sector has been supporting a major economic cause of 20,000 cane growers in the district along with generation of employment and trading activities. The Company's registered office is at Aska, Odisha.

The agro-climatic conditions, the water potential, the topography of the locality, the sprit of volunteers and deep experience of the farmers for planting sugarcane led the mission of the founders to provide gainful employment to a large number of people with a commitment to provide variable livelihood opportunities to the larger section i.e the farming community of the Ganjam District. Not only did the farming community ripe the fruits but all concerned of the sugarcane cultivation got the fruit of success.

The area of operation of the society shall consist of the State of Orissa provided that the area of operations shall extend to the whole of India with regard to commercial activities.

The sugarcane coverage at present is extended over 15,000 acres confining to 14 Blocks (of Ganjam District) around the factory which caters to a cane feeding of 3.75 lakh MTs of cane.
